Post 2 - My best holidays!

The south of Chile is a magic place if you know how meet it. I learned this in my 2015 summer holidays, when with a group of four school friends bored of our "Santiaguino" lifestyle we decided to travel to the big island of Chiloé. We saved money during the second semester of that year and got camping articles with friends, the result was a wonderful trip.

Our adventure began at the Llanquihue Lake, where we slept about a few days in the house of a friend in Puerto Varas, a beautiful and quite village with view to the blue lake at the foot of enormous volcanoes. There we passed the most relaxed days, walking around the city and sharing time with my friends. 

After this relaxing time we began to meet a lot of places of the "Región de Los Lagos" till arrive to our objective: Chiloé. In those times we had a fascination with this island, specifically because his culture and mysticism, all the time our north was found a "brujo" (sorcerer) that could reveal us the secrets of the creatures that live in the southern woods.


In effect we met a lot of people that probably was a "brujo", but they never reveals their identities easily. Actually that month of spend the night in campsites and meeting the “trekkings” of the most natural places of my country was an experience that marked my way to see the world and generated an important link with my friends.

but this is a picture before beginning.

Post 8 - English Language Challenges

Unlike when I was in my school period, in the university I began to understand better this language, although I still consider a hard work speaking fluently, but with the time I believe that I will improve this topic. I think that lately I improved my skills, at least according to my perception, because the english program at the university in the two last levels, the ones that I had to do, are oriented to practice in the daily interactions, like a conversation of different issues and explain about topics that we are interested in a blog.  Specifically the blogs, I consider that they are an important tool to develop the language because it forces us to express ourselves in a space which our generation is more habitual compared to writing an essay or the typical "letter to a friend", exercises that always I found quite false because they are not real scenarios in which we would use English, or at least for now. Post 1 - Writing for your future

First of all I want to remember that I study journalism and not cinema, but the seventh art has always been one of the things I love the most. I also think that there is not much difference between the two, but I chose journalism because I consider it much more assumed as a political instrument, although the film is also. This is why in this blog I will have the luxury of talking about a movie I saw a few days ago: Mother! by Darren Aronofsky. This movie, released three weeks ago, is about a couple that lives in a house in the outside of the city. He is a poet and she does not seem to have a definite job but spends most of her time to rebuilding and arrange the house. As the plot progresses, visitors who admire the poet begin to arrive and complicate the coexistence in the home. Post 5 - Post graduates studies

Since I began to study journalism I knew that at the moment to finish de career I want to continue my learning with a postgraduate program or, even, complete my journalism career with other major, although I think that this option means a big effort that maybe I don’t have the energies to do. Besides every year I research possible ways to specify this way, principally I thing to complement the journalism with the sociology or the philosophy, two careers that I regard are related with my current way. But this is an issue to other blog; here I explain my interest to make postgraduate studies. According to my interests my favorite subjects of journalism has be the audiovisual area, also I like the radiophonic journalism but I think the best way to learn more about that is working and practice the skills in the real world, in the medias, no through a postgraduate program, unlike the other two area I mentioned.
