Post 6 - Themed post

The journalism is a beautiful career: you can do a creative work with an important social content; in fact I think that the most important thing in a democratic society is the freedom of speech and the right of access to information. It is precisely at this point where I think that my country is very late and needs urgently a deep reform, to get better the journalism and, consequently, the democracy. But, which is the origin of the problem? I think that the mass communications in Chile don't have other objective than to sell, like whatever business. This error is a very serious problem that threat and makes me doubt about the real legitimacy of our democracy. How is possible that almost all the mass media are in the hands of the big economics groups? This should be unacceptable; the citizen’s voices are destined to die in the censorship camouflaged in the free market.       This situation should have been deleted with the return to the democracy at the early ninetee...

I think that the motivation to specialize me in the audiovisual area is be...

Although my aspirations has kept in the same area, the content and the styles of the movies that I want to create has change a lot, turning to the documentary films, what does not mean that till today I have a fascination for the fiction cinema. I think that the pleasure to watch movies is apart to the interest to create a movie. Share with persons, a creative job, ...

Post 1 - Writing for your future

First of all I want to remember that I study journalism and not cinema, but the seventh art has always been one of the things I love the most. I also think that there is not much difference between the two, but I chose journalism because I consider it much more assumed as a political instrument, although the film is also. This is why in this blog I will have the luxury of talking about a movie I saw a few days ago: Mother! by Darren Aronofsky. This movie, released three weeks ago, is about a couple that lives in a house in the outside of the city. He is a poet and she does not seem to have a definite job but spends most of her time to rebuilding and arrange the house. As the plot progresses, visitors who admire the poet begin to arrive and complicate the coexistence in the home. Although there are multiple interpretations for each script, the reflection that this film generated in mine is that through the development of the history we have complicated more than necessary with...
