Post 8 - English Language Challenges

Unlike when I was in my school period, in the university I began to understand better this language, although I still consider a hard work speaking fluently, but with the time I believe that I will improve this topic. I think that lately I improved my skills, at least according to my perception, because the english program at the university in the two last levels, the ones that I had to do, are oriented to practice in the daily interactions, like a conversation of different issues and explain about topics that we are interested in a blog. 

Specifically the blogs, I consider that they are an important tool to develop the language because it forces us to express ourselves in a space which our generation is more habitual compared to writing an essay or the typical "letter to a friend", exercises that always I found quite false because they are not real scenarios in which we would use English, or at least for now.

Regarding my career, journalism, I think that language management is very important because it can save you in an interview to be able to communicate with a source that does not speak Spanish. On the other hand, English, due to the universal that has been transformed, is even better than other languages because there are more chances that someone understands you, even if English is not his mother language.

In addition, English in general is already a language that we find everywhere, as in movies, newspapers and academic articles that are mostly in English, so knowing it saves us many efforts.
